Help Build a More Rational Web with the Rational Button
See something on the web that is a rational source for your opinions and arguments? Use the the Rational button to easily add the source to one of your Opinion Boards right from your browser's bookmarks bar.

If your account is connected to Facebook, Opinion Board posts can show up as links on your Timeline. You can turn this on or off every time you post something to an Opinion Board. Check out this post on the TheRationalDebate blog to see how Facebook integration works.
When you see a webpage that makes you think, "hey - I should remember this as a source for my argument on XYZ," use the Rational button!
Adding the Rational Button to Your Browser
Adding the Rational button for Other is easy:
- Look at the top portion of your browser. If you don't see the bookmarks bar below the location bar, configure your browser to show it.
- Click and drag the Rational button in the blue box above to your bookmarks bar.
- Click it when you see something rational on the web.
Adding the Rational Button to a Mobile BrowserIf you're using a mobile browser, you cannot drag the Rational button to your bookmarks toolbar. Instead, follow these instructions:
- Bookmark this webpage
- Edit the bookmark and:
- Set the bookmark name to 'Rational'
- Replace the bookmark URL with the code snippet below (be sure to copy it all):
Once you have the rational button on your mobile browser, simply start typing 'Rational' into your browser URL when you want to post a webpage to your Opinion Boards. Your browser should suggest the Rational button (it will have a star or similar next to it).
